Cold Weather = Heater = Low Humidity

Well cold weather finally decided to hit Houston, Texas. Overnight lows the last two nights have been lower 30's. First two nights we have had to run our heat this year which dried out Ego's cage humidity. I am using a cold invisible mist humidifier and it wasn't keeping up Monday evening. I went out and bought a visible cool mist humidifier and ran them together. This seems to have done the trick. Temps warming up today so I don't think I'll have to run heat tonight...
My only question, what do others do in dry enivironments?

I am in the UK and also struggling with humidity right now! It is cold and dry here and my poor Monty is roughly 50% when it drops through the day. I mist 3 times a day and have covered the back and one side in plastic, yet it still doesn't really help. I am also finding that humidity drops a lot in my baby Carpet's exo terra too! I can't wait for the warmer weather to come back!

Miss Lily, I have a Nosy Be Panther. It did ok last night running the invisible mist humidifier with the visible but the invisible mist blows the moisture and this dropped my temp from about 71F to 68F and I don't want to push it with low temp. I will lightly mist it tonight while he's sleeping too.
Thank you all.
