So being somewhat new to keeping chams, new higher temps in the area equals brain burps for me
I am very anti AC and that being said, I figured all the better for my lil' Kai. Temps in the house were good and I adjusted the basking bulb accordingly, RH was the best its been with little effort on my part. What could be the problem with my guy then..? He was all the sudden wearing his "Goth" clothing and just not being his feisty self. I scrambled and pondered all day to make adjustments (probably inducing more stress than necessary). Then while laying in bed hubby complaining how hot it was,….it hit me! Night temps!!!! So I jumped up out of bed, closed all the windows and flipped the AC switch. The next day Kai was bright, moving around and back to normal
Is this plausible? Did I actually figure it out? Poor guy had night temps at 84-78F for a full cycle! I felt like such a jerk for not realizing that during that day but glad he only had to endure the one night uncomfy.
