What kind of plant is in her enclosure? Also I would provide a basking spot, the heat lamp seems to just be over an area she cant really get under.

In the second photo it does look like hibiscus, but look at the first one, the leaves are too long/slender and dont have the ridges that hibiscus does.

it looks like theres one branch under the heat lamp but a closer pic would be helpful.

I would zip tie some hard plastic mesh on the screens and def. put a nice bio vine crossing about 8 inches beneath that basking spot.

Umbrella trees are my favorite. I would replace that plant, it's too open, no hiding spots.

Have a good branch or two in their two. Different girth sized objects to climb = good grip excercise!! :)

Do you use a drip system or a misting system?

If you use a drip system, I like to make their own spot just for it. A good boi vine works best IMO because they provide extra grip!!

I LOVE your chameleon btw!!! I am not a fan of Veileds but yours is sure pretty!! :)

I have a hibiscus in there for now. My umbrella plant was really small for that cage. Im going to put it out and let it grow more. I will put a basking perch for her now. Thank you. Yeah i have a drip system

Very nice. I would put in more horizontal branchs and vines about 8 to 10 inches down from the top.

besides everyone elses replys, I would hang a sheet of plastic on the back of the cage so your wall doesn't get wet and destroyed. your father would hate for that to happen....:p
I use a towel as that also help with keeping up my humidity levels.

sorry for my late reply as I saw this after you posted it, but I'm dealing with a realy sick chameleon and I got my hands full.

you are doing such a good job with her. keep up the great work.

Clea's new cage looks GREAT!!!!! I know she's a happy girl! Just do as everyone has said and add a few more things for her to get around own. Careful with that basking light if you keep her too warm you'll have her cooking up more eggs.

Thank you guys for the nice comments. I did put a vine near where she can bask on it. It is not really really close to the bulb but it is about 8 inches below the basking light. Maybe even 6 inches. I am going to fix up the cage and more things:) My dad is goign to buy pinheads for my 2 pygmys and then he will buy a thermometer for her cage. Not a horrible unuseful one, but a good quality one. You get what you pay for:) Thank you to everyone help

I had to ask this. I poked holes at the bottom of a cleaned out milk container for it to drip but when i put it on the screen it makes a big puddle on the screen instead of dripping down. What do you guys recommend doing?

Guys-this is a simple fix-if you raise it up a little it will drip through and not pool on the screen.

I used to use a plastic tumbler for Amy, and found that if the hole was slightly bigger it would drip rather than pool. Soak up the pool first and put the dripper back in its place, this also encourages the dripping. I got fed up with the inconsistency of this method so made my own dripper using an empty plastic sweet jar, aquarium silicon, an adjustable valve and some tubing. Only cost a few of pounds at most - certainly a lot cheaper than a sho bought one. Very satisfying to make one and it actually works, lol!:D

I looked at the hardware store (home depot) and couldn't find the right type of valve to make my own, so I continue to use "the little dripper" and airline tubing. Works great.
