Cleaning poop

My Cham likes to poop in the soil of his plants. Does this need to be cleaned out, or does it work like fertilizer? On the same note, does your potting soil need to be changed regularly?

If you dont clean up the poop it will mold.
Unless your are as lucky as Brad R.
I clean it out every day.
I would also change your soil every quarter.

when changing your soil you want to keep in mind your cage is going to be a pretty wet environment so plan to transplant to a mix that is high in drainage like peat or coir, you can also use small rocks on the bottle of your pots, or broken terra cotta for better drainage so long that none of the pieces get out which puts your chams at risk for impaction
