Cleaning branches

How do people prep their branches for the cham without baking them ?
My oven just doesn't have to space to be baking a 130cm branch

I just cut-off the branches after the winter cold and did nothing with them. There are people cleaning them and others don´t, depending if you know the history of the branches. Mine came from my gardens tree and I never used pesticides or anything, that´s why I consider them safe.

I wash off bird poop and loose debris with Dawn dish soap, blast with the hose and sun dry. Some just rinse off and some do nothing. No need to bake or sterilize.

I have got some disinfectant I use to deep clean my enclosure so I'll kean with dish soap then disinfect rinse and leave to dry thanks for all your help
