Clair bit Chloe

I was very angry about this and chloe is now in a cage (65gal all mesh) and clair will continue to FR. i only put chloe in the cgae beacuse shes smaller. it didnt break the skin but i have zero tolernce for my chloe being bit. i assume she probally steped on clair wrong but i wont be takeing any risks.

im mad at her but whatever, im sad chloe wont be fring anymore but her cage is very large and has lots of plants.

well maybe they can again, like you said, maybe chloe stepped on her.

The mom and fluffy black and white. just a stray(well...i claim her) i want to get all my cats fixed but more keep comeing and thannthey have babies. i just got 3 fixed and than when i was like "yay!" she came and had kittens XD

yeah, i have two more females trying to hand around now. it cost alot to get them fixed but right now i want to get as many females fixed as i can. hopefully they're not alrighty preggers

i know i feel terrible. i can have them in the same room w/o clair going to chloes area and chloe going to clairs and beacuse chloe got bit i dont want them around eachother anymore. it didnt look bad but one day it could be worse or something. dont wanna risk it. chloe will be happy i'll make shure her area is perfect ima buy a bigger screen cage later but for now the reterium will have to do. thanks on the kittens. i love them ^^~! i'll post pics in other pets section later today or tommorw

i am sorry to hear the Clair bit Chloe. Sometimes no matter how hard we try to give them all the best, it just doesn't work the way it should. Could you maybe put a curtain between the two areas? i have no idea of your set up but it is just an idea.

i'll post pics of te setup i did for chloe later. clair bit er becuz i cut back on her food, i just know it. when i'd feed chloe it'd make her so mad and feel that chloe become a "threat" to her food intake. i cut back so next time she lays eggs she wont have has many. hopefully none at all. poor chloe, such a sweetheart.

And you don't think it was a one off? Like one walked over the other one and the trampled one had a right to defend herself? I wouldn't necessarily separate them permanently, but use your best judgement.

When I had all my chameleons together my Jackson's would walk right over my Nosy be, and he hated it. So my Jackson's would get bites on his arms every so often but because he was asking for them. Otherwise they never bothered each other, whether it was over food, water, basking spots, etc. I ended up separating those two because my Jackson's started wanting to mount the Nosy so he got separated lol But I think it's just like with dogs, two may be best friends but if one bites the ears of another too hard the other has a right to snap back. And then they're best friends again.

Just my opinion. You know them better than we do but perhaps it was a one off.

i might re introduce them but im breeding her soon anyways and when she gives birth she'll need to be on her own. i dont want clair biteing her when shes preggers anyways becuz when chloe gets upset she just drops the bite was on her tummy btw.

hey! glad you re visisted this thread. im takeing clair and chloe to get parasite checked(im pre shure they'll come out postitive. you know how that is XD) hopefully it wont be cocadilla but i want her treated before she mates with your male, you got him checked recently rite? it's only 25$! and i dont ave to bring them in! whatever one has the other will aswell so ima treat both for whatever they find ^^

omgggggg. that sounds impossible to treat D:!!!!!!! dust is like impossible to get rid of. i can dust everyday and theres still dust.


ps- clair climbed on the cage and now chloe and clair are "basking together" sept chloes in the cage and clair is on top they'll still be little friends just no more biteing. lol.
