Cicadas has anyone ever fed them?

They are on the approved list. I had a Smörgåsbord a few years ago

As a concern, if you find one and its butt has fallen off, its a female that has already laid the eggs.

This happened last year in my area. Yeah my Parsons loves them. I have a video somewhere of him eating one.

They are huge.

The 17 yr variety that is due this year is somewhat smaller than the normal cicadas that we see in the midwest US. Those eyes though, very freaky looking!
