Cicada freshly hatched!

Check out this freshly hatched cicada - Out bug hunt'n and came across him as he was just exiting the shell. So you think a 4 month old Panther can handle it?
My Ambilobe, aka Master Chief Clyde ate a nice Katydid this morning from last nights hunt'n trip - a little concerned about the size of the katydid and had second thoughts - Went to the enclosure to retrieve the katydid - Too late - Clyde nailed it - took him several minutes but he managed it. What a stud!!! Lol

No Cicadas are much larger in body mass than katydids, katydids are mostly wings honestly.
