Choosing a Grow Light

Can you use the CFL and not hurt the chams eyes? Is it a certain type of bulb that is bad for their eyes? I remember reading a lot about that on here, but forgot what it was exactly that was bad???

I head about that to. So I guess that makes 2 of us that would like to know the answer to that.

Geez, you guys never cease to amaze me with all of your information. Just to clear things up for me, this grow bulb is NOT replacing the uvb fluorescent bulbs for the reptile but instead are offered in addition too the uvb reptile lamps as a way to help the plants grow?
