chinese water dragon fighting

hi all i have 2 water dragon of almost one year each , i have this little problem!

they are super gentle on each other while they are in there cage, but as soon as one get outs , the other one beg to get out too, and then they fight . but there have never been any sort of agresive action between these two while in their cage!

any idea?

Are they males or females or one of each?

Maybe they have their "pecking order" figured out in the cage, but being out of the cage is a new "territory" and they haven't settled that yet?

BTW...I've kept/bred/hatched/raised water dragons for over 15 years.

it is suppose to be a a male and a female but , i do not trust these vendors, and they are still too young to make a difference, but yeah maybe its the new territory.

i just hope they wont fight again in their new cage in the next months.
