Changing plants

How often do you guys replace your plants? Ive had this ficus for about 6 months and Im thinking of putting in something bigger and better. Suggestions?

Hibiscus!!! I don't usually change my ficus' untill they start to look sad or they start to drop a lot of leaves. My chameleons seem to like the hibiscus plants the best.

Hibiscus was gonna be my first choice but it didnt fit in the cage it was so big.
