Chams are doing great.

Both chameleons are doing very well now. i made sure to cover up the raw soil with some coconut bark so that they couldnt access those nasty white, fertile ball things. The breeder where i got my baby veileds from gave me another chameleon free of charge :). both are doing well and are getting plump quite fast, but is it normal for one of them to sleep upside down hanging off the top of the screen mesh? and both of them seem to get along very well, but is it ABSOLUTELY necessary to have them seperatley housed?

This might happen if a chameleon is on the top screen when the lights go out and it can't see good enough to navigate to a more comfortable sleeping spot.

Yes. This could possibly be a reason one of your chameleons is on the top screen to begin with.
