Yea I guess so if someone is going to be holding him and it doesn't stress him out. I don't suggest it be you to hold him while you're driving because they like to move around if they are not scared. And you trying to keep your eye on him and drive could cause car accident. You could try getting just like a small fake tree or something for him to sit in while your drive. Or a small bird cage so he can still see what's going on if he hates the travel cage you have.
