Chameleons first shed!!! :)

Well this afternoon when I misted my chameleons cage and Cham I noticed he was having his first full shed got any tips? All help is welcome!

Haha I will lol I already did I put him in a house plant an he's loving it! he's only 3 months so I can't wait to see more colour!!!

Waiting for the color is the hardesre thing when there young! I loved awaiting my chams colors and every shed brought new potential. You'll get there it is the being patient that sucks lol!

Can you pick the Chamelelon up while they're going through this shedding stage or is it like a Snake where you can't?

Haha yeah! He is showing his bars a bit more now and is getting even more colour!

I held mine today when I put him in a plant to scratch up against the plant he didn't mind it because he is pretty tame he doesn't show any warning colours or puff up his chin

Chams need to shed naturally so let him rub against his habitat and when you pick him up be sure not to pull the skin off. You'll see there will be lots of skin everywhere, and thats cool, but make sure to keep the cage clean after shedding.

Really? I helped him out with behind his neck and chin and some on his belly... (big mistake) will it harm him?! :/
