I'd say, "Well, if his eyes pop out of his head..." but we're talking about a chameleon—how would you know?

If you play bass, you probably know a little about frequencies.

Like snakes, chameleons do not have an outer or a middle ear, so there is neither an ear-opening nor an eardrum. However, chameleons are not deaf: they can detect sound frequencies in the range of 200–600 Hz.

Me personally think they can hear a little more than science says. From personal experience. But it will remain a mystery to me at least
