Chameleon's back legs went stiff and tail is limp

I have taken Valoo to the vet . I even given him a care sheet .
(FYI I'm not being rude, people just can't seem to read and take things too harshly also the internet isnt a very nice place in general and I've leaned that you have to almost nail things into peoples skull before they'll even listen and they to understand Thanks for the information though I will start misting him more and even buy a Mister to go off while I'm at work. But his fogger only goes off three times a day, as I said earlier I will correct the problem .. I am also very happy you have healthy and thriving chameleons! !

Good news is valoo was climbing around and seemed more active . I got him ready to see the vet and even printed off his care sheet so the vet didn't have to ask a million questions

The vet examined him and found that he is not constipated and his cloaca is clear of any obtrusion

They didn't find any broken, fractured or dislocated bones

The vet said everything seemed to be fine they just do not have the equipment necessary to do blood work as they don't have enough exotics to warrant it

Bad news is Valoo could possibly have kidney failure if he continues to decline.

The Vet administered fluids under the skin.
He also told me to seek out a specialist which unfortunately there is only one in the entire state I live in.

Again I am posting this forum to make a documentation of my experience. Please read thoroughly before making condescending comments
I hope for the best for him.

Well I hope Valoo makes it through this, I will start misting his cage longer and more often as well thanks everyone for the info and I will continue to update on his health .

I hope your little guy recovers. From the symptoms you mentioned I was thinking maybe an impaction but your vet ruled that out. Automated misting systems are great. You might also want to try introducing the occasional silk or horn worm to his diet.
