Chameleon won't drink water

My Veiled chameleon doesn't drink water. He only seems about to drink when ever I mist his cage but all he does is look at the water droplets. Sometimes when I pour water into his tub he seems to come near it but then never drink. How do I make him drink water?

They don't really recognise standing water. Ie, water dish. Keep misting, maybe for a little longer, it can take a few minutes sometimes to stimulate them to drink. Try a dripper, he may not drink while you're looking either.
Check out the caresheets for more info.
Have you seen his poop? That can indicate whether he's drinking enough. There's two parts to it, the dark coloured part and the urate part which should be white in hydrated chams. If the white part is yellow or orange coloured that would indicate he is dehydrated and needs to drink more.

If you are seeing white urates in his poop, he is drinking.
Some chams do not like to drink (or eat) when you are watching.
