Chameleon tongue

My baby veileds tongue seems to be weird... He hit something and his tongue would stop going out all the way (1-2") He would try to get the crix but would not be able to... This has happened twice then stopped the next day. What is this?

It could be a nutritonal deficiency (A or calcium) or it could be an injury.

This happened to my first Cham when she started developing MBD. She never regained full ability of her tongue and always had to eat like that
