Ok, I have a female veiled that I adopted from a pet store, after purchasing one other from them. The purchased Cham was healthy, the adopted one was not. She was diagnosed with an eye infection in her Right Eye, that would heal up but reoccur throughout her life. I made a long post regarding this issue in the "Health Clinic". After bringing her home, we discovered that things were much worse than just an eye infection. She cannot eat on her own, she cannot drink on her own, and although she seems pretty content, she is A LOT of work, more than we had anticipated. At this point, with two dogs, a two year old, and a healthy cham, I think that Lucy's best option would be to be rehomed with someone with more time, who is home more often, to provide a better quality of life than we are now. I feel like we saved her from certain death, as no one was even aware she couldn't feed herself, but after a full month of 45 minutes a night trying to coax her to eat and drink, I don't think I can continue to do this for the next decade. Can anyone offer assistance, or help get me in touch with someone who can help this little girl?
