Not all the time.. but the Urates need to be white to notify you he/she is hydrated. If yellow, it needs some more water. If orange...... neeedddssswateer!!!!
My guy regularly has poos without urates. and sometimes I find just a urate. its just dependant on the cham, kind of like us, we dont always have to do both.
