Chameleon Importers/Exporters

Hello! I was wondering if anybody knew of any good companies that import chameleons, because I am curious and might get some. Thanks!

4 years herp experience, and I keep Leopard Geckos, and I used to have a Panther.

I'm mainly thinking Calumma and Trioceros (Gracilior).

You cannot import gracilior. CITES has a ban on exports from Camaroon, thats where q. gracilior comes from. If you want those, you need to go through Janet. She is the only one curently breeding healthy unrelated animals.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that was only if they opened it back up, if I imported Gracilior, I would rather do it with importing experience than without.

Even still, that's going to be incredibly difficult and expensive to do, with no guarantee of a healthy animal. Personally, I would go with Jan, too.

You do not know what you are trying to do. It will just be impossible. Honestly, don't even think about it. You have no idea what was involved when the first quad/gracilior import came in in December 2014.

Importing most chameleons is a complicated and expensive venture. Wild caught are completely different from captive bred specimens and require a lot of care. Not all of them make it. Perhaps look into it more before just trying to import something.

Dont let a negative nancy who is just gatekeeping information turn you away. Anybody can be an importer don’t let their high and mighty attitude trick you
