Please be more specific. There are multiple species that can be considered "Elephant Ear" chameleons.
 
i'm very confused. Did you find this cham, or buy him from a breeder. why isnt the breeder telling you anything about him?
 
Elephant ear is not a specific species, when there are several different elephant ear species from Madagascar. I'm not experienced with differentiating them, as there are minute differences that can separate them. But if I were you I'd speak with your breeder.
