chameleon having problems finding her feet

after my female veiled chameleon broke 2 of her rear legs and one of her front, and taking her to a vet, it's been over a year since she has had all the bandages off, and she still has trouble walking, or holding any weight, she seems to just flop onto her belly and not use her legs as much as my male. her front arms she has trouble reaching for something to grasp and ends up grasping her other arm.

i seriously need some advice on how to help her!

she does climb very well and i usually find her at the top of the viv. but it's obvious that she has trouble moving about.

she also seems to have a lot of dead hardend skin in a clump that has never gone since her accident!

What do you feed her with? (I mean the vitamins and this kind of stuff). It's not normal that she can break her legs. And the moving problem... well, do you give her enough calcium?

i already went through all this in length in the initial thread that i opened when it happens, it was a lighting issue. everything has healed now, she just has some co-ordination problems, and the dead hardend skin in a small spot on her leg.

Reading through your old thread it has not even been 6 months, but despite that I doubt she will heal much more. The initial breaks were caused by MBD due to lack of UVB lighting and proper supplementation. But now her bones have healed as best they can. If she is eating and drinking then she will live out her days as a deformed pet.

Regrettably, it is quite possible she will not make further improvements. But with the improved care she is now receiving, she should continue to live as well as she is now. Try to make her enclosure easy for her to climb and make her hunting easy too.
