This is the little girl who I had to walk away from just last week. This was one of those big box stores, where I actually used to work! Luckily I have had much experience with many different types of animals since childhood. She was probably BARELY 4 wks old. Borderline age to ship and sell. They wanted $79.99 for her. (That's a LOT for a Veiled.) They didn't think that there was anything wrong with her. They couldn't stop going on about how cute she was. (Pitiful sales tactic!) Finally, when I pointed out to the associate that something was wrong (and I also taught them how to sex a Veiled and that it could be done the moment they hatch), the FIRST thing the manager said was "Well, aren't they on sale?" The associate and I both said no. And she came back indifferently with, "Well. The best I could do is 10% off." And that was when I really learned that what people here have said is true. They DON'T care about the animals' welfare, and all they DO care about is their profit. Not that their store-level associates see any benefit of said "profit." You look at the picture, and tell me what's wrong there. I can make a list! Then telle if I should listen to a word they say.

Let me tell you how desperately I wanted to try to save her from a doomed fate! That's what these stores count on. Your big heart which makes it nearly impossible to walk out that door.
Now. For a disclaimer: THIS IS GOING TO SOUND HARSH, BUT IT IS THE TRUTH, WITH NO BULL.
