Chameleon Disorientated

Ok so I have a veiled cham that is right around 5 months old. I got him exactly a month ago and and he was doing amazing for the first three weeks. Around a week ago his right eye swelled up and I took him to the vet where I work and another one, they said it's an upper respiratory infection. His eye has since improved and it is open most of the day now. About an hour ago, I took him out of his screen cage as I usually do a couple nights a week, and he was having trouble walking. It seemed almost as if he was blind/drunk. He was trying to walk off of my hand all fall 4 feet to the ground. Then when I put him back in the cage, he would climb to the top and then fall to the ground!!! This is so out of no where and I am kind of freaking out. Anybody have any ideas?!?!?!

in that case, i feel like MBD is unlikely. can you still post a picture though? or start a new thread in the Health forums, under the outline of "How to Ask for Help" ..and post a picture there
