Chameleon age

Hello! I got my chameleon back in June and I’m starting to wonder just how old she is. I’ve prepared her lay bin already but I’m a little unsure on just how much I should be feeding her. When I got her I was told she was months. I added a picture of when I got her and a picture from today.

Welcome to the forum.

3 months plus 5 months = 8 months sounds about right unless they've gone and changed arithmetic again.

Have you got her a lay bin yet? Female chameleons still lay infertile eggs without a male.

Roughly 8-9 months by her size now and then.

Food and basking temps directly impact clutch size. So with females we have to be pretty spot on with both. Temps at basking should sit at about 78. Max end would be 80 but I would keep it closer to 78. Now by 9-10 months they should typically be on a feeding schedule of 3 days a week and no more than 3 feeders per feeding. So depending on what your feeding now and how often you want to start working her down in numbers and frequency week by week. Feeders should be a small to medium size not large.

Your still supplementing the insects as well. If you need more info on this let me know.
