Hi All

Im asking for some advise on a cham that my friend has, Hes only young not sure how old, Around 3 months old I think.
His skin has lumps on it like dried blisters and the heads come of them if you rub one, It looks very much lke some one has got rice crispies and wet them and stuck them on him, There the same color as that. I have beardies so I havent got a clue about this one, He is also getting very dehydrated and not eating. Could it be some sort of fungal infection?

I have searched the net but am unable to find any thing about skin problems.

All advise would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I would suggest a vet visit before he gets worse. Post a picture and maybe someone hear can tell you if they have ever seen anything like that before. I know I haven't.

This is one for your local Vet. If you have a picture some people may be able to tell you what it could be, but it sounds like it is going to need treatment and fast.
The one thing I would make sure of is that it is not burns-check the temps and light placement, and then get to the Vet.

lumps under his skin sounds like parasites from this one picture i saw. just something to keep in mind while taking him to the vet, good luck!

This may be nothing but a slower than normal shed.
the skin differences between a 3 month old animal
and the subadult could explain this.
I seriously don' t think that this is an example of a parasite problem
at this point.
a photo is required.

Please post a picture. There are bumps that look somewhat like chicken pox that can be fungal, bacterial or viral. Are they round (you described them like rice krispies...so it makes me think sort of oval)?
