Cham hanging out a lot near basking

I've noticed the last few days that Reptar is hanging out a lot more at the basking spot. I've made sure that the temps are the same, even though it has gotten colder. Is he doing this just because it is cold outside?

little over a year, and between 82*-85*. 70*-73* elsewhere. 65*-70* at night.
