Cham hanging from the top of the screen?

I just came home and checked my cham. She was basking when i originally checked on her however 5 minutes later I come back and she is hanging upside down from the screen top. She isn't under the basking bulb or the uvb light so I am wondering if this behavior is anything that should be concerning to me. I gotta tell you this chameleon is very quirky lol. At one point she would go on the floor to hunt crickets and people were telling me something was wrong but I've accepted that i just naturally have a weird chameleon because she does eat, she drinks, and she goes to the bathroom all seemingly fine. I think that the upside down clinging is suggesting boredom with her enclosure but i'm not sure as i'm no expert on their behavior.

i wouldn't worry too much about it hanging from top of screen. I'd just be sure she can't get burned.

i dont know much about cham behavior either but my carmie used to walk around hangin from the top of her cage quite frequently when she was smaller. It was fairly entertaining to watch.

Both of mine do that, I think it's just because they can lol My adult cham doesn't do that, but I'm sure that as a baby he would have also.

I think it depends on a few factors. Indeed, if your enclosure doesn't have much vines or if it's small, you may higher the chances of such behavior.

On a side note, i have what i consider a large enclosure with more than enough vines and plants and my little Delko still does it at least 3 times every week!

At the end, if your setup is good, don't worry about it! If you have things to improve, then do it! I'd look for the size, the vines, the temperature and UVB access mostly.
