hey i have a 2 month old nosy faly and i just caught him chewing on the fake vines and when i caught him he stopped for a sec only to start on a fake leaf. I'm worried a piece might eventually come off even though i watched and this time nothing came off but what if I'm not home and he has more time etc? is this bad and does anyone have any insight on this?

Offer him romaine lettuce. He would much prefer it over fake i would assume :) my veiled has eaten 30% of his pothos plant lol. I don't have fake leaves so i dony know if he would chew on em

Yeah, he's wanting some greenery.... Maybe put a live plant in there with him to eat, something Cham friendly...

Typically they do this when they need more water. Bump up your mistings and add a live plant like a pathos. I also think they chew when they are hungry.

cool ill extend mist time, and throw another plant in there for him, i don't think he hungary he's got a cricket or two in his sights but right now i think he's wants to bask...thanks guys

I'd take the fake plants out for a while just in case. I have an umbrella tree I picked up from home depot they have a great size variety!! I don't like fake stuff personally.

ok sounds good ill take out the ones he goes for to make sure, its just strange with a real plant right there that he goes for the fake one...
