cfl bulb for plants, good or bad...

hi,
new in the last couple months to chams.

wanted to use live plants (ficus benjimina and hibiscus).
things seem to be going well enough, the ficus looks great and the hibiscus is having a growth spurt.

i am using 2 26w cfl bulbs to help promote the plant health, on the forum i see a lot of talk about cfl's. 24x24x48 reptibreeze. and i do have a basking lamp and uvb bulb just so no one gets confused on the topic

so i am looking for opinions on any pro's/cons to using these bulbs...

i personally use the cfl bulbs and havent had a single problem. they have improved these in the last few years so they r good. heres a link to another thread that talks about the exact thing and has other peoples opinions also.

yeah the search feature doesnt work well for me either. good thing i chimed in on that other thread though! haha. not a problem though
