Cedar Sticks

Is it okay to use Cedar Sticks in the cage? Of course I would have to clean them and what not but concerned about the aroma they put off affecting my little Frankie when I get him?

I wouldn't use them! You'll never get the cedar smell out of the sticks! If you want fresh smelling clothes hang them in your clothes closet, your cham will be happier!

Nope, don't use them. The aromatic oil in cedar can irritate the respiratory tract. Some types of cedar are less potent than others, but there are so many better options out there.
