Causes of Parasites

Hello, I am pretty well educated on Chameleons now after alot of my threads have been answered but here is one thing I cannot find any information on... Chameleons can get parasites many different ways such as being around other reptiles and having a whole build up of bacteria in there cages for prolonged amount of time (1-2 months) but no one ever said anything about live food causing parasites? I have buying from petco for a while now (live crickets) and have not had any problems thus far and gutloaded and so forth. Any input?

How often are you getting fecals?

The biggest parasite risk in your situation would be pet shop employees transferring cysts and stuff from wild caught lizards into the insects they are selling when they reach in clean or handle lizards and then into count crickets out for you... It's a risk that can change dramatically from week to week depending on what lizards are recently in stock and the hygiene of the person getting your crickets...
