Cage Info:
Cage Type - It is a plastic tub about 5-6 inches tall, 17 inches long and 5-6 inches wide. Its one of those tubs made by exoterra I think. I keep him in there because its still small like 3-4cm I do have a fully screened cage for him when he will need it.
Lighting - ReptaSunPLus a uvb company in Australia
,5.0 , I do not have a heat bulb on him because the temps are like 24 in the house. I can also put that up if he needs it.?
Temperature - Room temperatures ranges from 20-25C during day and a drop of about 5-7 degreesC. I am using a thermometer.
Humidity - Humidity levels are obtained by me hand misting the tank it ranges from 60-80% during the day and I do not spray in at night.
Plants - 1 plastic plant in his tub, he actualy still manages to hide well away in it!
Location - Been in dinig room for most of the time, there is a ceiling fan above that is turned on most times,I would say it is a medium to high traffic range, It is on a table about 3+ feet off the floor.
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Carpet chameleon Furcifer Lateralis, unknown but I have been calling it he, its age is estimated to be 2 months but maybe its younger.. He has been in my care for 3+ weeks.
Handling - Use to handle every every day of first week but now not at all realy.
Feeding - I feed a few pinheads and baby mealworms, and for 2 days I have been starting to feed Fruit flies about 10 a day.Fed every day or every 2 days depending on how much I feed that day. Feed mealworms carrots and potato skins.
Supplements - I havent been supplementing much because I was told its more a once a month thing except for the calcium with out d3 I feed like twice a week. I use T-Rex chameleon supplement, u-gro calcium with d3, repti cal calcium with out d3, repti cal multi vitamin.
Watering - I use luke warm water and hand mist the plants and paper towel, I have yet to actualy see him drink... But there are no signs of dehydration.
Fecal Description - Small poops because the chameleon is small and urate colours is white.
History - The breeder gave him to me because he noticed a kink above its one leg however this does not affect its walking and everyday life, and the breeder would of ''Disposed'' of it anyway so he handed it to me.
Current Problem- he is keeping his eyes closed most of the tim during the day but when I pick him up it starts to walk arounnd and open eyes, it also looks it small places a bit dis coloured like pale.
Pictures are helpful: I will try getting pics up tomorrow.
Please any help would be appreciated.
