May I ask why you're concerned where he is? If he isn't in harms way and is going about his buisness just leave him be. Eventually he'll come up to his basking spot when he gets to cool

Thanks lol! Just wanna be sure he IS safe and ok. I made a few mistakes with my last one and i waited too long and he passed so this one i am being extra observant with and am not handling
my female panther does the same to me ,she hides vey good LOL the male veiled cham doesn't care , he sleeps on the door or where ever he fall asleep LOL they show up at basking time for sure
It's wonderful your so caring for your little guy! It will take a little bit for you to learn your chams favorite hiding spots in the cage. But I'm confident in due time you'll learn where to look! I'm so sorry about your last Cham, but I'm extremely confident he's very happy in heaven, and that God has set aside a wonderful place with lots of bugs for him
