Ok so I rescued these girls from a moron. He had a 10.0 uvb bulb on them and damaged there eyes also they both had ri's needless to say I took them in and they have made a 100% turn around only thing is now im unsure of there locals. Think the up close shot is a faly and the darker one a Ambanja.

Now just so I say this "I know chams do not live together" however when I got these 2 they would search for each other and find each other and sit rite next to each other like they are in this pic. I have no idea I guess they may have been raised that way before the Moron who had them before me got them.

I am going to separate them tomorrow because I feel that the darker one is not enjoying the company now that they are better she actually turns better colors when I take her out so that is the plan but back to the subject can anyone tell me what locals they think they are.????

Good for you are these the pink panthers I heard about they do look rough I would try to seperate them aswell they will get over the fact they are apart the healthier they get. Good for you taking these two in its a big job.

are their eyes always closed like that? thats a sign of sickness. i read where you said the eyes are damaged, is this the damage? have you seen a vet to confirm this?

The pink one does look faly with those white bars and long face but the other just looks like a stressed female female locales are impossible to tell I was also wondering if you have had them to a vet yet ?

This is so sad to see with their eyes. They are permanently damaged then? I am glad you got them away from the "moron" and can provide them a better life. I just wanted to commend you on that. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to tell female panther locales. Sorry!

actually there eyes are just closed because of the flash lol there eyes both have made a complete turn around and are open all the time the damage was not permanent and yes I always see the vet. I am friends with him and he is also a cham enthuses and breeds bearded dragons he is actually very skilled in chams and reptiles in general so I am fortunate to have him.

Yes she does look stressed but it was because the camera was in her face the other not so much but yea like I said tomorrow they are gonna have to deal with being separate. It took a full 3 weeks of of hand feeding and water and baytril eye cream yada yada you get the point but they are doing good she does have a little cut that I have been cleaning everyday and putting cream on it for here that cut looked way worse 3 weeks ago so bad i thought it was mouth rot but thankfully it was not.

When the darker one comes out of the cage she perks rite up and even in the cage she perks up as well but i have the cage and all the trimming for it so a new castle awaits. thank you all for the responses.

O forgot yes these are the Pink Panthers i assume you know my girlfriend. Because she named em that lol

Poor girls! I'm so glad they found a good home! I'm sorry I can't help as far as the locales. The closer one is a beautiful color.

unfortunately, as Dez stated, you cant tell locales on females.

All female panthers look the same, across all the locales.
