Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Panther, Female, 6 months, I have had her since Dec/24/2015.
Handling - Everyday for mins at a time.

*Feeding - Small size crickets, wax worms, meal worms slik worms. ( thing is she hasn't really eating a thing
since her last shed 5 days ago beside a silk and a wax worm. Plus she stopped eating crickets 2 weeks before that)

*Supplements - NOTHING SHE WON'T EAT I do have Sticky Tongue farms Miner-All Calcium with D3 and witch me being to this I was feeding it to her every other day and maybe dusting a lil heavy. Worrying about overdose on D3 I have cut that out. I have Sticky Tounges Farms feeder Vit-All. I all so have a brow multivitamin Witch I do/have use every other Saturday. I have now gotten some calcium with out D3.

Watering - Auto misting goes off at 9am/11am/1pm/3pm/5pm/7pm for 90sec. I also hand spray cage in to rise humidity and help with meds she is on ATM. She is drinking a lot everyday.

Fecal Description - This ones all over the map. She dose poop like everyday since i have had her maybe 2-3
times she did not poop do to not eating i believe. BUT this morning it seems to be watery and a lil blood in
the water part.. Do female chams get their time of the month lol??? She has not been tested do to I got her
from a really close friend, he's a well known breeder here where i live.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Wood and Screen cage. 18x18x36 the back,one and the top is covered in polly.

Lighting - I don't know the names but I can tell you I didn't set it up myself. The guy I got my Cham from came over and helped me set it all up the UV and heat bulbs came bran new out of the box and the auto time goes on and off at 8am-8pm.

Temperature - Temp stays all day around 75-82F. Night time it stays around 72-80F. I have a Temp/Humid combo gauge.

*Humidity - This part since day one as been an issuse. All day it satys around 20% so I hand miss the hell out of her till it hits 99% but then less then 10mins later back into the 20s. at night time I can get it to stay in the 40-50% rage.

Plants - One Devils ivy the rest fake been work on getting more living pants to help with humidity.
Placement - In the kitchen under a heating vent it is at times a high traffic area.
Location - London Ontario, Canada.

Current Problem:
Besides all of the above. Shes had a lip infecion that I treated with col civer but it came back.
She had a chest infection that I treated with oral meds for 10 days it came back. So shes back on the oral
meds for the last 7 days. The meds have to be hard on her lil body cuz now even her one eye satys closed all day I give her a 15 min shower once a day witch I think she actully likes.
No Vit-A is not helping but again she won't eat. Yes I do use a feeder cup to.

I'm getting a lil with her hunger strike do to she moves around well, has not fallen, she still has a good grib
and I have read some hunger strike have last for weeks and they didn't die.

I'm just freaking out cuz it seems to be getting worse and I don't know how many days shes going to be able to soldier though this. She sleeps alot now a days. I could go on and on but thats enough reading for anyone lol.

If you can help me out here with anything in anyway I'm all ears guys cuz I'm just lost
P.S I could always just take her back to where I got her from. I just don't really wanna give up on her but I'm
no breeder.........

Normally I would try and help with some issues, but this one I would say take her to a vet as soon as you can. I just think being a keyboard warrior at this point isn't going to be to much help. I'm but I'll rooting for the little girl and keep us updated!

Hi LittleDsmomma,did ur breeder tell u its ok to feed the chamy mealworms?to me the mealworms is like a potato chips for human,its hard for the chamy to digest n no nutritional values at all.
The poor baby has lots infection that u mention,could it be all these medications got her all mess up n losing her appetite?? Is she still still bend out the shape as we speak right now?did u inform ur vet with all these problems that she did not eat at all?
Usually a weaker immune system always accompany with the lost appetite.

Lazereth ya polly is a vapor barrier, being a key board worrier i guess is me just venting.
Alphakenc, see at first she was beening picky about the crickets and we thinking cuz she only weight 25.5g at the time. I'd give her Wax worms and stuff to get her a lil more up there in weight before kicking back to crickets cuz it may take a few days of no eating..
See I dont know if its lots of infections or a sinus infection... Bend out shape just a lil shes sleeping..

And its ok last time I posted no one got back at all 20 ppl looked. I get its over whleming lol

No they don't get their time of the month. Honestly, that does not look like blood. It is more orange in color and looks to be like little crystals in the urate which is probably not a good thing either. I have seen it before. Hopefully it will not be a continual thing. It could have something to do with her kidneys and possibly all the meds you have had her on. Was she sick like this when you first got her? She has been about 7 weeks in your care and it probably is caused by something you are doing. I think you might be introducing too much water into the environment with all the hand misting you are doing in addition to the automatic one going off. Too much water can be a bad thing. You said chest infection...do you mean a respiratory infection??

I think it means that one side is covered in plastic to help with humidity.

No she was not sick when I get her.. I know now where I started to go wrong was with the D3 to much.. Yes i do mean respiratory or maybe sinus infection. Water eh i didn't know that I been just trying to case humid lvl. If I cut make the hand misting it will stay at 20% til misting then maybe it will jump up to like 40% for a lol bit. should I just up the time to like 3mins every 2hrs.

If the top is cover the UVB is NOT penetrating at all, you must remove it from the top and use screen. At this point she's not getting her UVB!!!!!! Could be some of the causes you're having with your little girl.

When the deadly addiction began,it will be hard to get it off,just like the favorite junkfood to the human ,huger strike n non nutrition food are both no no for a health chamy as far as my own opinions,I totally belive is the medication that he is on got him all whack out.

Ya i believe so to but the slim in her mouth is pretty much gone and around this time of healing last time i ran out of meds and it took me over a week to get her back on them... listing to her like she as asthma is sad breathing though her mouth all the time

Ok have u ask ur vet for an advice that how long will this problem be going away with the med that u giving to ur precious cham? Cause if giving the medication is not improving the cham health,then its time to 1)get a proper medication 2) or get a second opinion from a different chameleon specialist vet.

What type of hydrometer are you using it could be faulty have you checked it with another one. If it is analog I would definitely change it out for a digital one. And make sure it's towards the center of your enclosure, and not around your heat light.

I didnt go see a vet not yet. I know, I know moneys just a lil tight right now.
I was worried about so I call over my close friend and breeder. He took a look an right away was like yup respiratory infection. I went over to his place the next morning.. He gave me 10days worth and showed me how.. the 10 days went by she was fine for like 5-7days then bang it came right back. so now im on the 7 day again... trust me right when I have the money im hitting up the vet..
