Calling all Ohio keepers (and NW PA too)

I'd like to touch bases with other Ohio keepers here on the CF, see what shows you go to- if any, and where in your opinion has the best chams in the state- or if there are any importers/breeders in this general area.
I'd also like to know what the variety of chams being kept are, and see if anyone has any cbb panthers or pygmies for sale.

I'm from northeast oh.... 20mins from akron, havnt gone to many shows other than the all Cleveland in brookpark.

I'm up in Ashtabula - aka the sticks of the frozen tundra. How often do they have the show in Brookpark, and are there usually any chams there??

im from sagamore, if you know where that it. im like right next to you! brookpark has a show once a month next will be sept 18. was there on sunday the 14th and got a baby red eyed tree frog. there is always a veiled breeder with some baby veiled and jacksons. this time he had one adult veiled and 2 pairs of some "rare" locale panther for $400 and would not sell them seperatley. its a good show but like most its 70%snakes 20% beardies and 10% other lizards and frogs.

I'm not real sure where Sagamore is - tried mapquest and only got Sycamore - so where are you close to - Warren, Youngstown- or more towards Cleveland? I've got 25 eggs incubating right now (should be hatching around mid november or so), so it's good to know that the competition will be minimal when they are ready to be sold- the Dad is my profile pic & Mom is here too- Dad is a Kammer hybrid & Mom is pure Ambilobe, so I'm hoping that will help when it comes time to sell.

i was just informed the guy in cincinnati had panthers but idk what els he deals with. im right next to walton hills, twinsburg, maple heights, bedford. you can try one of those on mapquest?

Cool- I know exactly where Twinsburg is - good to know there are fellow cham fans up this way too, and I'll be sure to check out the next show in Brookpark.

I live in Columbus, OH. I've currently got a male Ambilobe and I've got two CH Melleri on the way to me next week! I'm VERY excited because I've never had luck finding chameleons in Ohio. My panther came from Kammer's and the Melleri from Dallas (a CF member connected me to someone here and I'm visiting family in Dallas this week).

I've always wanted to attend a reptile show but I don't know what is reputable in the Midwest. Seems like all the chameleon action is on the west coast or in Florida.

Best of luck with the babies, and be sure to post some pics too, I've always thought that those giants were awesome looking.
I'm gonna check out the Cleveland show when it rolls around next month - kinda surprising that Columbus doesn't have any shows given that it's a lot more populated than Cleveland these days.

im in pennsylvania :D bout an hour from ohio border lol... i keep veiled chams and a panther :)
and 46 little veiled eggs.

im like 12miles from ohio in PA. im 16 aint got my lisence yet so iv never bn to anyshows. but as soon as i can id like to go to some and maybe get more chams.

ive been to only 2 shows in brookpark, first time was looking for a panther but they were only selling pairs. the second trip i wasnt even going to buy annything but i saw a baby red eyed tree frog for $23 and 500crix (there was like 800-1000) for $9 :D

There's a guy in southern Ohio that has really nice chams...

Apparently some guys up north have some really nice chams too.

I wanted to get that yellow Ambanja off you as well if I remember correct. You've had some nice chams for sure.
