Calcium w/ D3 question..

I keep reading that you're only supposed to dust your chams food w/ calcium w/ D3 in it 2 times a month... (I have been using this as my normal calcium :-/ .... and am immediately stopping!) But... I am just curious what too much D3 will do to your chameleon?! I'm scared that my chameleon may be unhealthy because of this and I don't even realize it! :/
