Cage is ready...Wheres my Cham!?!?

Aw, she is adorable and Im glad you decided to keep her..all that shipping must be hard..

Its not there anymore but I saw an ad on Kingsnake.com 3 days ago that LLL was looking for bulk chameleons to Buy.. That threw up a big flag to me.. Wouldn't they have suppliers/breeders. How can you guarantee the health of something if you buy from just anyone, especially people on Kingsnake.. Ive heard their products are good but not their animals.. Sorry they screwed up.

I hope she enjoys her beautiful mansion on a hill.:)

Be sure to post some pics of your new little boy. And you're right, with that face I wouldn't have been able to send her back either :)

Well after a while of thinking it over and talking with Kate at LLL about this matter I have decided to keep her. I spent the day observing her and feeding her out of my hand, and I fell in love. I cant let her go back. Like I said shes now like a child to me and Im just happy "shes" healthy. ;) On another note Kate was able to compinsate me for the mix up which made the deal even sweeter. On yet another note I will get my male as promised and he will be here tomorrow.....along with another full blown cage set-up....and all the goodies....:p I could not help myself. Busy week for me as I just added 2 new little ones to the collection.:) Yes I am a CHAM-O-HOLIC, and no I will not go to meetings!:D

Look at that little face....could you send her back?:p

Jason, glad you decided to keep her. As Julirs said, females have a great personality. My first panther was supposed to be a male but turned out they sent me a female. I thought it was a female but sorta hesitated to say anything because I didnt want to look like a fool to the company that sold her and I also thought the color might start to come in. I sent them a pic and they said it was a she so they gave me a whopping 25 dollar discount on a male:rolleyes: Anyway I wouldnt have the great pair I do now if it werent from the mix up.

And who says females arent colorful!

First pic she had a minor eye issue thats why she is a little squinty in the pic.

I had the same expierence at LLL, I bought a female ambloibe and got a male ambanja. But after I got him(Ben) I am like you, I love him. Ben is now an adult.

Although she was a bit under aged, she is doing just fine.:) She is eatting and drinking like a little piglet! I will try and post some pictures tonight.;)

Cains: GORGEOUS coloration..LOVE the blues!!
Jason; Glad she is doing okay and even more glad (gladder?) that you have kept her and grown attached..Its not hard whent hey are so cute!!!

Shes doing great, eatting and drinking just fine. I have moved her to a tub for some extra care. I really wanted to prevent the stress of having to look over that big cage, as thats alot of ground to cover for such a little girl. I have yet to name her though. :( I will have to think of something that has to do with her "mishap arrival" any ideas guys?? How about Miss Steak? hehe j/k:p here she is after a big breakfast:

I'm glad you decided to keep her Jason but because she is a female don't forget to put in an egglaying bin in her cage. No she shouldn't have any eggs now but the sooner the better. Remember females WILL lay eggs even if they haven't been bred. And the addiction begins.haha.

Also note that if they are of the same clutch you dont want to breed them down the road. I doubt LLL can tell you if they are or not however if they are the same size I would lean towards yes... Your girl looks good! :)

Thanks for the advise Chad. ;) Theres about a 2 month difference, highly doubt there from the same clutch. :)
