Cage by window?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if its okay that my cage is next to my window (facing west), it looks out onto a small city street. We have no street lights at night but there is some faint ambient light at night time.

Its it okay for my cham to have a little light at night time from outside, or should I cover him up?
Im just worried if im out for a day or two, I cant leave it covering overtop of the heat lamp for risk of fire. (right? I know its not that hot, but still)

And I assume people or cars going down on the street is okay.

i have seen many chams near a window.depends how they react to it.the only problem i would see with it is if it had a draft thats all?

My guys cage is in a corner next to the window. There is a blind in the window so at night I just close them so he's not disturbed by any outside light. I open them every morning, he loves to sit and look out at the world!
As crystal said, just be sure there aren't any drafts to chill him..

Shouldn't be a problem, just make sure that the sun doesn't have the ability to "bake" the enclosure. As long as your chameleon can escape to a shady spot if needed, it should be O.K.

Cool thanks guys, brand new windows luckily (120 year old house) so no drafts at all and lots of shady spots for him. Thanks! Good to know!
