How do you prepare it for gutloading? I'm sure I read here that you cook it but not sure. Are the seeds any good?

I think you can shred or grate it but you could probably steam it like a sweet potato, you just need to peel it and cut the core out

I just cut it up in chunks and throw it in the bin.

Dont forget- crickets can eat right through plastic screens- I am sure they can handle a raw squash.

I lightly steam, usually. But usually I'm preparing it for myself and only giving a portion to the bugs!

I throw in the discarded parts too. IE the stuff you cut off of the ends. The roaches go nuts over it.
