burn?

i noticed this on my female veiled to day its on both sides. i immediately turned off her light when i noticed this. her light is about 7 inches from her highest perch.

It looks like a thermal burn...even though the light is 7" above, it is more important to establish and monitor the temp...If you have a thermometer turn the light back on and see what the peak is.

What kind of lighting are you using? Can you take some pics of the lighitng arrangement?

Edit: What wattage is your heat lamp? What type of UV lamp?
