Don't see any burns. UVB light should be linear not globe. Globe only goes down 3 inches. reptisun has a 24" hood that comes with the right bulb. if its too wide it can hang over the edge no.problem. Bulbs should be changed once a year as they dim. Also I like having a dimmer switch on the basking light so I can lower it in the summer when its hot. Once you cham is full grown and quits screen walking you can put the basking fixture right on the screen but you will have to drop his perch down about 6-8" from the bulb. Also nothing higher than a 75 watt for basking. you can always use an extra fixture for a plant light from Sansi best of luck to you. Hate to see you buy stuff that is no good. Return the uvb right away and get the right kind. Acadia makes one to needs 6% bulb. Also never use red or blue lights as they cause blindness in chams.
