Bump in mouth????

i moved houses today and just noticed this since I had to get him out and he hissed at me but he has a bump in his mouth??

This area here? It could be an abscess or other serious problem. Best course of action is a good vet. If it is an abscess, it will need to be cleaned out thoroughly and then your guy will need antibiotics.

Possibly mouth rot, a vet visit would be recommended

I got a few better photos, and yes I did have to get close so he would hiss so I could see inside his mouth. I will be calling to make an appointment tmr

UPDATE

So this little goober just had an impaction of a gland in his mouth. So I was instructed to increase humidity and we are doing a round of antibiotics and he should be good to go! Very glad it wasn’t too serious!
