Bulging Eye - HELP!

Can anyone identify what is going on with this little man's eye? It looks like there is a weird air bubble or something in there. It is super swollen. Just looks painful... I read a little on here and it sounds like he might be shedding around his eye, but I just want to be sure.

The pic is pretty tiny, but that could be an infection (abscess) under the skin of the eyelid, a tumor, cyst, that should be examined by a vet.

You can always use some sterile eye wash to make sure there isn't any shed or material that got under the eyelid. I use the little squeeze bottles so that you can get a good stream right into the eye, it will fill up and usually wash out any material that isn't supposed to be there.

Could you upload a clearer, up close picture? Is the bump constantly there? Or was his eye kind of bulging back and forth for a minute or so?
