Building a new cage!

Hello everyone! This summer i am going to be building a new cage for a Male Ambilobe Panther Cham and i would like some advice on my dimensions.

Would a 4'6" by 4' by 2' be large enough for him?

The cage size your planning would be really good. Depending on your feeding methods, if you release food freely, make sure he has a strong hunt to him or feeders can roam without being consumed. If you cup or hand feed, you should be fine. Just make sure it is high enough off the ground so he can climb high and feel secure.

I'm currently building a cage roughly the same size for my male ambanja panther which prefers hand feeding, but hunts like a bull shark as well. Keep us posted on your design, as the community is always interested as to misting, lighting and water drainage ideas and designs.

Below is what I'm working on currently, roughly same size as yours, but I'll be removing the middle screen between to make it one enclosure.

Thanks for the reply!
I live in colorado where the air is at about 10-35% humidity and temps in my roommare about 70-74 degrees year round. If i have 3 sides glass and the front and doors mesh with a screen top and bottom, will the humidity and temperature be suitable with enough air flow?

Yes, variations in humidity and temp are good. With the size your talking, 4'6 X 4 foot, you should have proper air flow. Just make sure that if you are using glass for the sides, that there isn't a reflection when he looks through it. Could cause him some stress thinking his reflection is a challenger.
Also, use screen for the top as well. This will allow heat to rise through and create some more air flow, heated air will escape and be filled by the outside. Also, plexi can hinder UVB and heat sources.
Humidity will rise and fall throughout the day as you mist so an outside/inside your house of that range will be fine and your 70 to 74 range is good for ambient temps from mid to low of the cage.
I would suggest you fully stage your cage with lights and such before you move your cham in though. That's a very large enclosure and temps will vary a lot. Just to get an idea of your temps and distances between heat and uvb sources throughout, as well as under your heat source. A 2 degree change in my apt registers as a 8 degree change under Mojo's heat lamp.
