Hi I have a new female Panther chameleon am told she is 6months by petshop. I have noticed tiny little bugs on her poo when I remove it. I am unsure if this has come from inside her or from her enclosure which we bought pre-planted with moss & plants. It could be part of nature's clean-up as the terrarium is self-cleaning & I've read something about Spring tail bugs that eat the detritus? I'm just paranoid as my male Cham Jackson died last week after an infection led to kidney failure. We miss him so much! This little one, Rosie, is very scared of us, has bitten me, hisses. We bought her a couple of weeks before Jackson died (we didn't know he would die). We are letting her adjust to her surroundings for the moment but I'm afraid the longer she goes without human contact the worse. Every time I open her door she goes dark & hides so I really don't want to put her through the trauma of a trip to the vets unless it's really necessary. I did notice her poo looked slightly pinky & worried could be blood but not sure if I'm just imagining it or could be the lighting. V slight mucous on it so I have been dusting food with prebiotic as well as calcium. Any advice welcome thnx
