Bugs on Poop

Hi I have a new female Panther chameleon am told she is 6months by petshop. I have noticed tiny little bugs on her poo when I remove it. I am unsure if this has come from inside her or from her enclosure which we bought pre-planted with moss & plants. It could be part of nature's clean-up as the terrarium is self-cleaning & I've read something about Spring tail bugs that eat the detritus? I'm just paranoid as my male Cham Jackson died last week after an infection led to kidney failure. We miss him so much! This little one, Rosie, is very scared of us, has bitten me, hisses. We bought her a couple of weeks before Jackson died (we didn't know he would die). We are letting her adjust to her surroundings for the moment but I'm afraid the longer she goes without human contact the worse. Every time I open her door she goes dark & hides so I really don't want to put her through the trauma of a trip to the vets unless it's really necessary. I did notice her poo looked slightly pinky & worried could be blood but not sure if I'm just imagining it or could be the lighting. V slight mucous on it so I have been dusting food with prebiotic as well as calcium. Any advice welcome thnx

Not sure what this means have you ever done a fecal check with a vet for parasites? When was last time the bottom of the cage was totally cleaned?

The terrarium is self cleaning, all I do is remove the poop & any dead plant matter. I posted on a natural reptile keeper site also & have been told this is part of the Eco system inside the enclosure-the little bugs eat the waste. Apparently as long as I take out large waste which can overload a small Eco system, the enclosure is self cleaning. Didn't have this type of enclosure for my male-hadn't heard of it before. We have only had it set up around 3 weeks so was brand new before that. I will keep an eye on her poop for now make sure no blood or mucous. Am thinking I can always send off a sample for checking without actually taking her to the vets.

Custodians (springtails, woodlice, etc) would eat the poo and the dead plants and so. Can you see the bugs around on the soil and under the moss? It would be easy to id springtails if you manage to get a pic.

Thanks I will try to get a pic next time I see them. I thinki have seen something crawling in the miss before so hopefully they are just part of the Eco system. Just so paranoid now!

*moss not miss. Someone pls tell me how to edit a post on here-I can't see the text I'm typing on my phone!
