I dont know about you guys but i came across this pic on the web and it really caught my eye this guy is BLUE!!!!!! SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PANTHER

That would be cool if it was real... if you take a close look at the picture.... You will see the blue tint above the trees. It would be awesome though if he was real...

Here some real blue for you. Socrates is this guy's brother. That whole group I had turned out really blue.

There used to be two kind of Blue Nosy Be panthers The deep dark blue like what you are showing and the sky or powder blue panther which seems to be more common. Use to be a debate as to whether they were from different locals on Nosy Be or just by chance variations within the population. Something similar to the occurrence of purple bar ambanjas in the normal ambanja range.

Yep blue on blue. I do know what you were talking about as far as dark nosys and light nosys though.

Yeah it was a kind of old school debate back between 1993-1996 and have not heard much about it since. Last thing I heard was the dark blue Nosy be you could not find anymore. Occasionally though I have seen some Nosy Bes with the dark blue traits like GREASEBALL from the chameleon company.
